Blue
Blue is the most common lightsaber color that you will see in the galaxy. Generally speaking, users of this color are Jedi Guardians that display bravery and are great warriors. Chances are that you don’t want to meet a Jedi with a blue saber on the battlefield as they are known for their fighting abilities.
The best known users of this color are Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, prior to his fall to the dark side.
Green
Green lightsabers are generally used by the most powerful of all Jedi. Users are generally wise, mature, and skilled. They prefer to rely on their negotiation and mind over their weapons if possible. They are known for their wisdom and their desire for peace.
The best known users of this color are Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Luke Skywalker.
Red
Red is the color that is most commonly associated with the Sith and users of the Dark side of the force. We have seen most of the iconic bad guys from the series use red blades, which easily allows viewers to recognize the ‘bad guys’.
The best known users of this color are Darth Vader, Count Dooku, Darth Maul, Darth Sidious, and Kylo Ren.

Purple
Since purple is made up of red and blue, some think that a purple lightsaber represents someone who is a blend of both the light and dark side. The story goes that this was actually a personal request from Samuel L. Jackson, which George Lucas eventually accepted. This was because Jackson wanted to stick out during the big battle in Attack of the Clones.
The best known user of this color is Mace Windu.
Black
A black version of a lightsaber exists, which is called the Darksaber. This is the ancient blade that was created by Tarre Vizsla, who was the first Mandalorian to become a Jedi. Whoever holds this blade is believed to be the rightful leader of Mandalore.
You have seen the Darksaber in The Clone Wars, Rebels, and The Mandalorian. The best known wielder of this blade was Din Djarin aka the main character of The Mandalorian.
White
White is another color that Jedi are able to use. We know this because Ahsoka is seen sporting two pure white lightsabers in various Star Wars projects. This blade is said to represent purity, positivity, and neutrality.
The best known wielder is Ahsoka Tano, who has two white blades. She previously used blue but later made the switch to white.
Yellow
Another color that is able to be used is Yellow. The color is used by The Jedi Temple Guards. At the end of The Rise Of Skywalker, we also see Rey get a new lighsaber that is yellow.
The best known wielder is Rey, who received it at the very end of Episode 9. She previously used a blue one for her training. Asajj Ventress also acquired one of them as well after originally using red.
