Han Solo shoots Greedo while they are in the Mos Eisley cantina. Greedo was coming to collect the bounty that Jabba the Hutt placed on Han’s head. The man inside of the Greedo costume in the film was Paul Blake and Larry Ward was responsible for the voice.
A fun fact is that the original scene had Han shooting Greedo before he could pull his trigger. It has been changed several times in re-released footage to show Greedo shooting at the same time and missing Han.
3) What Is The Name Of The Planet That The Death Star Destroyed?
The planet that was destroyed by the Death Star was Alderaan. The rulers of the planet were the House of Organa and it was the planet where Princess Leia grew up.
4) What Type Of A Farmer Was Uncle Owen?
Uncle Owen was a moisture farmer who lived on Tatooine. A moisture farmer is someone who harvested water. These were prevalent on hot planets, like Tatooine.
Owen raised Luke Skywalker on his farm after being asked to take care of him by Obi-Wan Kenobi. Owen is the step-brother of Anakin Skywalker. This came after Owen’s father, Cliegg Lars, married Anakin’s mother, Shmi Skywalker.
5) Which Cell Was Princess Leia Held On The Death Star?
Princess Leia was in Cell 2187 while she was a prisoner on the Death Star.

Here are some additional facts about the movie.
1) Orson Wells was considered as the voice of Darth Vader.
George Lucas originally had Orson Wells in mind for the iconic role. He changed his mind after he thought Wells’ voice would be too recognizable. James Earl Jones won the part instead and it is hard to imagine anyone else voicing the role.
2) Christopher Walken auditioned to play the role of Han Solo but didn’t get the part.
This was revealed by Christopher Walken during an appearance on Conan O’Brien’s show.
3) Kurt Russell auditioned to play the role of Han Solo but didn’t get the part.
Russell was apparently one of the finalists for the role but took himself out of the running to do a TV Western.
4) Sylvester Stallone auditioned for the role of Han Solo.
Stallone also said that he didn’t get a second audition from George Lucas. Safe to say that the audition did not go well.
5) Al Pacino was offered the role of Han Solo
Al Pacino says that he turned it down because he didn’t understand the script.
6) Jodie Foster was strongly considered for the role of Princess Leia
Carrie Fisher thought that she had lost the role to Jodie Foster but she ended up turning it down.
