C-3P0 often serves as comedic relief for the films, alongside his trusty sidekick, R2-D2.
The character was voiced in the movies by Anthony Daniels. He has appeared in 11 movies, including all 9 of the main trilogy films.
Chewbacca
Chewbacca aka Chewie is a Wookie that comes from the planet of Kashyyyk. He is best known for being the best friend of Han Solo and his co-pilot on the Millennium Falcon.
In terms of personality, Chewie was known for being strong and loyal. He also had a tendency to be stubborn and was someone that hated losing.
Chewbacca is played in the movies by Peter Mayhew. He is credited with appearances in A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Revenge of the Sith and The Force Awakens.
Darth Vader
Darth Vader serves as one of the main villains in the original trilogy. He is widely considered as one of the greatest villains of all time in pop culture.
He began his life as Anakin Skywalker and eventually became a Jedi. Anakin went over to the dark side after being manipulated by Emperor Palpatine and he became a powerful sith lord named, Darth Vader. Vader ends up redeeming himself in the end and it was revealed that he is the father of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.
Vader is played by David Prowse in the original trilogy and voiced by James Earl Jones. Sebastian Shaw plays the role of an unmasked Anakin Skywalker in Return of the Jedi.

Han Solo
Han Solo is a smuggler from the planet of Corellia. He is best known for being the co-pilot of the Millennium Falcon, alongside his best buddy Chewbacca. Han is also known for being an incredible pilot, even completing the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs.
In terms of personality, Han started the series as someone that was selfish, egotistical and only out for money. Later on in the series, he shows incredible bravery and loyalty to his friends.

Lando Calrissian
Lando Calrissian is known for being an old friend of Han Solo. He is also known to be someone that likes to gamble, con people, and make money.
In terms of personality, Lando was someone that was charming and was a smooth talker. He was also known to be witty and people considered him to be a swindler.
Lando is played by Billy Dee Williams in the original trilogy.
Luke Skywalker
Luke Skywalker serves as the main character of the original trilogy. Originally a farmer from Tatooine, he eventually trains to become a Jedi under the training of both Yoda and Obi Wan Kenobi.
In terms of personality, Luke is best known for his bravery and selflessness.
Luke is played by Mark Hamill.
Obi Wan Kenobi
Obi Wan Kenobi serves as the mentor to Luke Skywalker and many other Jedi. He looked out for a young Luke on the planet of Tatooine. He later went on to sacrifice himself against Darth Vader and continued to guide Luke afterward with use of the force.
In terms of personality, Obi Wan is someone that is modest and kind. He was a great negotiator and someone that was very patient.
In the original trilogy Obi Wan is played by Alec Guinness.
Princess Leia
Leia Organa was adopted by Senator Bail Organa and his wife, which made her the princess of Alderaan. It was later revealed that she was the daughter of Anakin Skywalker and the brother of Luke Skywalker.
In terms of personality, Leia was someone that was determined and fierce. She was very smart and could be hard-headed.
Leia is played by Carrie Fisher.
Yoda
Yoda is known for being a legendary Jedi master. He trained some of the most powerful Jedi of all time, including Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Mace Windu.
In terms of personality, Yoda was very intelligent and known for his wisdom. He was a great teacher who wanted his students to become the best versions of themselves.
Yoda is played by Frank Oz, who voiced and was the puppeteer of the him in the original trilogy.
